Village Hotel Leeds South

First time staying at this hotel, and what an absolute gem it is. We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The food was excellent, and the bar was even better than my local back home, which is saying something! A special thank you to the amazing bar staff Hanna, Jenna and Molly, who really made our stay memorable. Friendly, attentive and great fun. Look forward to booking in again soon.

We celebrated our son's 21st birthday and the staff were lovely. Everything went well and they went above and beyond the call of duty. For example, someone tried to crush the party but they mentioned that they hadn't seen those guests and they think they were not part of the celebration. Indeed they were not! Such attention to detail is commendable. Thank you Vi and your team. A huge shout out to the chef. The food was lovely and the guests enjoyed it. We'll be back for our next event. Thank you!

Great hotel, great location, just a hassle getting parked up as they are extending the hotel and blocked out a lot of car park spaces, there was an overflow car park so better signposts would have helped, rooms are lovely and clean and staff are really helpful, my room had moths all over it as probably the guest before me left a window open, so was a bit irritated when I woke up in the middle of the night and had moths flying all around the room, however it was due to being unclean, I do come back in a weak time so fingers crossed the experience is better on that front. Breakfast was okay, just missing cheese, but overall a decent stay if not great

My brother and I have just got home from staying here. He's left a review and I felt compelled to do the same. Room was lovely, spa, sauna steam and steam were amazing. Didn't attempt the cold plunge, not for the faint hearted ha. But I echo my brother's words when I pay a lovely testament to Claudia on the hotel reception. What a wonderful and amazing person you have there. We've stayed in many hotels and you don't get many Claudias. Always welcoming with a smile and a hello. Checked us in in record time. Nothing worse than hanging around, gave us every detail we needed for our stay. Always very polite and actually interested in our day. Sorted out in quick-time a minute issue with our room, sorted in under 10 minutes, never known this before and we travel ALOT. Genuinely cared about sorting our issue and unapologetically so nice. Breath of fresh air is an understatement. Protect Claudia at all costs! Thank you so much for being a smiley presence, you are clearly extremely good at what you do. Nice people are few and far between, you were a godsend, we will be back.

I stayed at Village Hotel Leeds South for one night on a business trip and had a really positive experience overall. Check-in was quick and easy, and I was very pleasantly surprised with the room — clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything you need for a good night’s rest. The gym was also great. Being January it was very busy, but it’s well equipped and still ideal for getting a solid workout in. Breakfast was excellent too, with a good selection (including fish), and poached eggs made to order. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the morning even better. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area — it ticked all the boxes at a reasonable price. The only downside was the parking: because of how popular the gym is, the car park gets very busy and it took me around 20 minutes to find a space.

This pub offers an excellent overall experience, combining a welcoming atmosphere with high standards of service and quality. The interior is well maintained, the ambiance is comfortable and inviting, and the selection of drinks and food is impressive. Everything is thoughtfully presented, making it an ideal place for anyone really. I would like to give special recognition to Matas, whose professionalism truly stands out. He is attentive, courteous, and highly knowledgeable, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well looked after. His calm confidence and consistent service contribute significantly to the positive reputation of the establishment. Overall, this pub sets a high benchmark for quality and service. Thanks in no small part to staff members like Matas, it is a place I would confidently recommend and happily return to.

I’ve had such a great experience at the Village Hotel Gym. The facilities are always clean, modern, and well maintained, and there’s a really welcoming atmosphere every time I visit. A special mention to Connor and Catherine – they are absolutely amazing. Both are so friendly, approachable, and genuinely knowledgeable, and they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and supported. You can tell they care about members and take pride in what they do. Whether you’re new to the gym or more experienced, this is a great place to train. Highly recommend!

We have just arrived home from a lovely stay. Have to point out how impressed we were with the amazing Claudia on reception. What an amazing and polite, helpful lady. Very informative, quick to help and went above and beyond when our air con had a slight issue. Resolved very quickly and moved within 10 minutes to a more suitable room. Claudia gave us information about breakfast times, gym and swim opening hours, food serving hours in the bar and given helpful information about local shopping spots. With a beaming smile on her face at all times said hello and goodbye every time we saw her. She asked us about our day and if there was anything else we needed help with. This is not just good customer service, this is diligent and genuinely lovely customer service. What an asset. Thank you Claudia for making our stay that little bit more personal. We will be back and we hope (more prey) you are on shift when we return. This level of hospitality cannot be taught, it comes from someone who genuinely cares about people. You need a promotion or at the very least a pay rise. In 2026, be more like Claudia!! Be kind and caring and put customers first.
